  • Yes, we hold weddings at all of our resorts.
  • If your date is available, the wedding department at the resort will be happy to reserve a tentative date. After we receive a deposit and the signed contract, we will reserve that date for you.
  • If one desires a legal wedding, Mexico requires that you be in the country at least four business days prior. Saturdays, Sundays and Mexican holidays do not count. Also, your arrival day does not count towards the "business day" requirement. You must arrive four full business days prior.
  • Weddings should be reserved at least three months in advance. Please consider weekends and high season has more demand than weekdays and low season periods.
  • Only a civil ceremony is legally recognized. A religious ceremony has no legal bearing and does not replace in any way the binding legal civil marriage. A renewal of vows or religious ceremony is a symbolic ceremony. It is performed by a non-denominational minister (please note that Catholic ceremonies cannot be performed outside the church). In this case, the bride and groom will receive a symbolic marriage, not legally valid.
  • There is no fee for providing our wedding coordinators. A specialist will assist you prior to and on the special day and they are available throughout the entire wedding planning period to answer any question you may have regarding the event.

  • It's very important to let you know that we are not able to do weddings on the beach at Grand Solmar Land's End, due to the closeness to the ocean and the tides change all the time. However the Gazebo is beautiful and is really close to the Beach.
At Playa Grande Resort you can have a beautiful wedding on the beach, we have plenty of space to fit more than 100 people and a front ocean terrace that can fit your reception.
  • Legal ceremonies are performed in Spanish; please ask your wedding coordinator for a translator. Symbolic ceremonies (renewal of vows) are performed in English.
  • If you do not have witnesses available, they will be provided by the resort at an additional cost.
